We call ourselves the
friendly carpark company.

Because others do.

The parking signs were only in Danish and I do not understand Danish ...

This is an excuse often heard by Parkeringsgruppen.

Driving and parking a car in Denmark you are required to understand and observe traffic and parking signs just as you are local signage in any jurisdiction. If you do not understand the meaning of a parking sign we regret, but you should either seek guidance from people present or refrain from parking.

This may seem unkind, but too many signs or too much text on signs will confuse the majority of daily users thus causing them to be fined. Moreover, parking signs do not exactly add to the beauty of parking facilities which is another reason for limiting them.

If you have been fined for parking against regulations and want to pay or contact us please refer to the CONTACT US section.

This is also where you will find our contact details should you wish to approach us for business purposes.

A parking disc ("parkeringsskive", "P-skive") is required in many public and private parking spaces in Denmark.

As a guest in Denmark driving your own car you may not have a parking disc in your car in which case you may fill out a paper in clear writing with your time of arrival (e.g. "11:45") and place it in your windshield easily legible from the outside.

You may also purchase a parking disc on a gas station or in a car accessory department or store.

Time restrictions as signed should of course be obeyed at all times.
